What is DEET and does this product contain it?

DEET was developed by the US Army in 1946 and interferes with neurons and receptors located on the mosquito’s antennae and mouth-parts. Boku Bug Off Spray contains no harmful DEET.

Which of the ingredients repel the mosquitoes?

If you have ever been told to burn citronella, you will know it is powerful. Boku Bug Off has this powerful repellant, but mosquitoes hate a whole bunch of other things too so we added lemongrass and peppermint along with other essential oils.
